Music for Today

Lately have become an all-around fan of Tycho/ISO50. Acquired one of his prints a while back (Vuela 1971) then stumbled onto his music without making the connection that the artist and producer were the same people. If you’re not familiar with his work, check it out.

New Music For Friday

I’m helplessly needless and needless to say I owe you.

Well I’d wade ten thousand klicks for a just one more chance.
Just one more chance, to see your face again.

Well I’d pull, 10 time the weight of the earth with my teeth.
The earth with my teeth to touch your face alive.

You lie helplessly still as your face falls apart.
With wax and wires and hair from the back of your head.

Well I can make your face brand new.

You are warm.

Come take my hand and I’ll take your hand,
And I will bring you out.
Come take the line and I’ll take the line,
And I will pull you out.

To swing In the sun.

Come take my hand and I’ll take your hand,
And I will bring you out.
Come take the line and I’ll take the line,
And I will pull you out.

To swing In the sun.
swing in the sun.

Sent To Jail For Feeding The Hungry. ‘Murica, Fuck Yea.

On Wednesday, three members of Orlando Food Not Bombs were arrested in Lake Eola Park. Their crime? Feeding homeless people without a permit.

“They basically carted them off to jail for feeding hungry people,” said spokesman Douglas Coleman. “For them to regulate a time and place for free speech and to share food, that is unacceptable.”
